Richmond Montessori School seeks a qualified music teacher to join our dynamic team, advancing the mission of the school: inspiring academic excellence and nurturing human potential.
Essential Job Functions:
Entails general music, instrumental music and choral music;
Have a philosophy of music education which fosters the unique talents of all students;
Works with other staff members to find ways to relate the students’ musical experience to the general curriculum; and
Some evenings and weekends may be required for special events.
The anticipated hours of the position are 30 hours a week.

Excellent classroom management skills
Comfortable with the use of technology in the music classroom;
Knowledge of the changing voice; and
Experience and comfort level with singing and conducting an elementary and middle school chorus.
