Job Summary:

The Specialist is responsible to the Program Coordinator for coordinating all aspects of TECTA Orientations. This positions is also responsible for:

• collaborating with community colleges to coordinate services for students in the CDA Prep and Early Childhood degree programs;
• serving as a CDA mentor and advisor for students seeking the CDA credential;
• overseeing and entering all data into the TECTA web-based data system to ensure contract is properly executed;
• participating regularly in staff meeting as well as quarterly state management, advisory board meetings and early childhood partner meeting to maintain positive relationships in the early childhood field;
• collaborating with co-workers to ensure contract needs are being met as well as het needs of providers and students in the early childhood community; and
• performing other related duties as assigned.

The Fair Labor Standards Act status of exempt or non-exempt will depend on the incumbent's entry salary for this position. All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding.

Required Qualifications:
