About Seven Arrows Elementary:

Founded in 1999, Seven Arrows Elementary is known for a powerful K-6 liberal arts education that fuses rigorous academics with world culture and the arts.  A best practice school, we combine both traditional and progressive approaches to meet the needs of each student. Long Term Sub - Elementary School

Position Summary:

Seven Arrows seeks a dynamic 1st grade teacher to start immediately as a long term sub for the remainder of the school year.  Having received the K-2 waiver, Seven Arrows is in person, organized into safe, socially distanced cohorts. 

The long term sub will be working with our current 1st grade Lead Teacher but responsible for his/her own cohort of 11 children.  The long term sub is responsible for supporting all facets of learning along with the critical role of supporting the Lead Teacher. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction designed in collaboration with the Lead Teacher in language arts, math, and social studies
• Supervise children during transitions and some specialty classes. 
• Assist STEAM teacher during STEAM classes when needed.
• Provide coverage when needed for lunch
• Share responsibilities to record and maintain school, classroom, and student information such as attendance, student assessments, and progress reports
• Attend faculty meetings
• Adhere to school hours for teachers which are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday
