Eagle Valley Child Care Association is looking for full and part time teachers. Our ideal teacher candidate will have Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Qualifications with the State of CO Office of Early Childhood.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Association Credential) or three college courses in Early Childhood Education. 3640 documented work hours in a licensed CO child care facility and/or state approved training will also count.
We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

A Level III or higher in the Colorado Shines PDIS System
Per the CO Office of Early Childhood requirements:
Three college courses in Early Childhood Education and/or
a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and/or
An associates degree in Early Childhood Education and/or
A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
A High School Diploma/GED
Experience working with children from birth through age eight
The ability to pass a physical exam; a Colorado and Federal Bureaus of Investigation Fingerprinting Screen
A nationwide child abuse and neglect background screen
The ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
The ability to sit on the floor, bend, stoop and squat

About Eagle Valley Child Care Association
Eagle Valley Child Care Association (EVCCA) is a not for profit organization supported by the Town of Vail, Vail Health and Eagle County. EVCCA was established in 2001 with the opening of Vail Child Care Center. In 2005, EVCCA opened Miller Ranch Child Care Center in Edwards CO.
Our schools are licensed to provide high quality early care and education to the families of Vail Valley for up to 114 children. We are licensed to care for children from eight weeks up to five years eleven months. EVCCA offers children an Emergent Curriculum using Teaching Strategies GOLD/Creative Curriculum.
