We are currently seeking a State Mandated Preschool Program Teacher for our Child Development Center. This is a 10 month position with benefits, 6.5 hours per day. The teacher is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold assessment, and supervision of the children, Instructional Aid and Work Study’s or volunteers.
Examples of Duties
Provide planning and execution of developmentally appropriate early childhood education experiences for each individual child.
Planning of activities in all domains, including social and emotional, cognitive and physical.
Maintain records of the progress of each child’s growth and development using the online Teaching Strategies Gold System.
Parent communication through Class Dojo App, emails, Google Classroom, and face to face. Encouraging parent participation in the classroom and for workshops.
Ability to be flexible to work at school or from home using Google Classroom if needed.
Ability to work with others in a cooperative manner as a member of our team.
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Gold Assessment is preferable
Knowledge of Google Classroom is preferable.
Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
P-3 Certification with a NJ Standard Teachers License.
