Léman Manhattan Preparatory School seeks a 4th grade Head Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year to begin effective immediately. This position will be responsible for teaching students both in person and online. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of child development and the standards for the grade across all subject areas. A working knowledge of the Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop is expected, and an understanding of the Responsive Classroom approach is preferred. S/He is a collaborative team player and is able to demonstrate flexibility in a classroom setting. Candidates should have at least three years of classroom teaching. A Master's degree in elementary education and experience as a head teacher is preferred.
