Collaborate with TOPSTAR advisors, local early care and education programs, professional organizations, 60% community agencies, businesses, industries, and families in our service area to ensure that training and education needs of state-regulated family/ group home programs in our area are fully met.
Provide leadership and support to family and group childcare providers, family/ group home childcare organizations and partner agencies through technical assistance, coaching and committee membership
Assist in compiling accurate reports in a timely manner
Provide logistical support in planning state-wide trainings, conferences, and workshops
Adapt to changing business needs and work responsibilities
Prepare, plan, and co-teach the TECTAFCC Orientation course
Participate actively in family child care professional organizations. Become a member of National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC)
Keep abreast of current literature and research related to child development, the child care field and child care workforce
Provide academic consultation to prospective and current TECT A supported students
Attend FCC meetings and professional conferences ability to organize multiple tasks and work schedules
