The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications to a 9-month non-tenure track position for a two year Visiting Assistant Professor in Early Childhood – 6th grade beginning Fall 2020.
Teaching 80%/Research 0%/Service 20% Teach 4 courses, serve on College committees
Required qualifications for appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor include an earned doctorate by August 2020 in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, teaching certification in Pre-K-6 and a minimum of three years Pre K-6 teaching experience; strong oral and written communication skills; and potential for leadership.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in university teaching in traditional and online environments, an understanding of the structures of schools and systems, and a commitment to developing collaborative relationships.
