The Parent Referral Specialist provides oversight and management of the collection of information on child care programs to provide child care referrals and resources to families contacting the SC CCR&R via the website or phone. This position will serve as the point person for work with parents, families, and the community through consultations, email correspondence, training, conferences, community events, etc. to provide information on SC CCR&R services, child care options, indicators of quality, and related resources. For this position, the selected applicant must obtain one credential from the Center for Child Care Career Development within 12 months of employment: Credential for a South Carolina Certiﬁed Trainer Credential in the course content area of Professional Development or Program Administration.
