The University of Minnesota, Department of Pediatrics, seeks candidates for a faculty position in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. The rank of this position will be at the Assistant Professor level, on the Academic Track.
This is a 100% full time position. The faculty member is expected to pursue scholarly work that improves mental health care during child development, and advances our understanding of typical and atypical processes underlying child mental development. The faculty member will have opportunities to participate in interdisciplinary research across imaging, psychiatry, and genetic. The faculty member will also have opportunities to participate in neuroimaging and data science education.
The applicant must have extensive training in neuroscience and data science. Essential qualifications include two graduate-level degrees, with at least one PhD. Applicants should have expertise utilizing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, and programming languages such as R, python, and/or MATLAB. Extensive experience with neuroimaging tools and packages preferred. Applicants should be comfortable working in large interdisciplinary teams, comprising both clinical and non-clinical members.
