USC School for Early Childhood Education is seeking an Assistant Director, Early Head Start to join its team.
Job Summary: The Assistant Director, Early Head Start Home Base is responsible for the overall supervision of 12 HBE employees and one Data Entry Clerk Administrator. Must ensure Education Components are being provided per EHS Performance Standards to the families and children. The Assistant Director, Early Head Start Home Base must ensure that services are provided to families and children per HS Performance Standards: 1302.30, 1302.40 and 1302.50.This full time position is grant funded and contingent on continued funding.
Salary: Full time, $4,488.23- $4,567.67
Knowledge or background of early literacy or family literacy.
Previous Head Start experience or other Head Start related programs.
Bilingual â English/Spanish preferred.
Valid Commission on Teacher Credentialing Child Development Directors Permit.Â
Transportation and state required automobile insurance coverage.
Various computer programs available and hands-on experience in their applicability.
