The Program Coordinator I for the South Carolina Child Care Inclusion Collaborative will provide training and coaching for all of our Inclusion Specialists located throughout the state to improve their practice in the form of onsite observation, action planning, and providing feedback. In addition, the successful candidate will be integral in developing an evidence-based consultation model and ensuring that it is provided with fidelity. The Program Coordinator I will provide coaching and mentorship to all Inclusion Specialists to ensure that services to child care providers are delivered with consistency and fidelity. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing training for all new Inclusion Specialists and developing and providing ongoing training for current Inclusion Specialists. The successful candidate will be able to think independently to make decisions and provide guidance to coaches on the spot. The Program Coordinator I will work directly with child care providers to coordinate and implement developmental screening in child care programs via the SC ASQ Online System or hard copy. This includes recruitment of new programs, onboarding programs, and evaluation of programs that are already using the system. The Program Coordinator I will provide assistance to the Program Director in analyzing data and writing reports. This is a 12-month temporary grant funded position. The Program Coordinator I will be based at the USC-Columbia campus. Regular in-state travel and occasional out-of-state travel will be required.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree and 3 years relevant program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years relevant program experience.
