The National Child Research Center (NCRC) seeks passionate and creative applicants for a full-time position as Lead Preschool Teacher, working with 2 to 5-year-olds starting in the fall of 2019.
NCRC is located in the historic district of Cleveland Park in Washington, DC. Our highly trained faculty is committed to creating a preschool environment that nurtures the whole child and celebrates each child’s uniqueness in a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment. Committed to the inclusion of children with special needs and typically developing children in the same classroom, NCRC provides low student/teacher ratios and an enriched learning environment within a collaborative, committed, and dynamic professional learning community. NCRC actively supports and encourages diversity among the staff and families that we serve.
Qualified applicants will have, at minimum, an undergraduate degree in early childhood education, early childhood special education, or in a closely related educational field such as child development or elementary education. He/she will be committed to inclusive education and have experience and joy in working with young children and/or children with special needs.
