Provides education and care to Child Development Center (CDC) children; writes and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum; plans and documents parent conferences and home visits; maintains and updates children’s files; supervises, schedules, and evaluates classroom student assistants and field experience students; and assists Coordinator with administration of the CDC. Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of experience working with children birth to age five in a licensed care facility required. Student experience will be considered. Current certification in CPR and First Aid or the ability to acquire within three months of hire required. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Iowa Teaching License in Early Childhood Education preferred.
