Developmental Specialist II – ILP provides assessment and intervention services to assist in fostering the growth and development of children, birth through age three. This work is usually performed within the family's home or within natural settings in the community designed to directly involve parents in providing family-oriented, developmental and behavioral opportunities for their children.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Pediatrics, PT or Speech Therapy, or related field. Plus 1 years’ experience in parent training, developmental assessments/evaluation and educational planning for children who experience a disability or developmental delay. Must be able to apply for and receive a level 10, 11, or 12 on the Alaska SEED (System for Early Education Development) Registry within 30 days of hire.
