The Tatnall Early Childhood Educator has the responsibility to perform a variety of duties that promotes the mission of the school.

Plan, teach, evaluate, and support students in order to provide a flexible, balanced and developmentally appropriate curriculum experience for children and their families.
Communication on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule with families in order to foster home and school connections.
Communicate student progress clearly and effectively to students, parents, and faculty, through emails, meetings, formal student reports
Educators meet regularly with other faculty members and administration in order to be informed, current, and progressive in current education trends.
Instrumental in admissions by welcoming families, participating in parent nights, open houses, and social events to promote The Tatnall School.
Educators engage in professional development to further knowledge and awareness of pedagogy, curriculum, technology, and child development.
