Child Care Resources Inc. (CCRI) works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to high quality, affordable early learning and school-age opportunities and experiences which enable them to succeed in school and in life. Child Care Resources Inc. is seeking a Statewide Technical Assistance & Professional Development Specialist.
This full-time position coordinates statewide efforts to enhance the capacity of regional and local Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agencies with respect to the delivery and effectiveness of technical assistance (TA) and professional development (PD) efforts that improve the skills, knowledge and services of early care and education and school-age professionals/programs. The incumbent will work cooperatively with NC Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Council, including management agencies, regional program managers, statewide special project managers, core service managers and members of the statewide CCR&R team to develop and ensure consistency of protocol and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Child Development or related human service field required.
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred
At least six to ten years of progressively responsible positions in early care and education at system level: CCR&R experience required
SPECIAL WORKING REQUIREMENTS:
An automobile at his/her disposal; a valid, non-suspended NC driver’s license and a current automobile liability policy with continuous coverage
No substantiations or criminal conviction of child abuse or neglect
Must be able to operate office equipment. Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
May require flexible schedules, including occasional evening and weekend work and overnight stays
While the job position is based out of the office at 4600 Park Rd #400, Charlotte NC 28209, some statewide travel required
