A non-profit within South Suburban Cook County with a long tradition of supporting families with passion and commitment to serve is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist. The AdministrativeSupport Specialist leads, plans, and implements specialprojects as assigned by Program Director. You must be to able to keep information confidential as it pertains to working with sensitive information. Administrative Support Specialist shall perform clerical and technical support for this non profit program while working to keep files organized. Administrative Support Specialist shall coordinate all program activities to insure successful outcome. Lend administrative support to staff in organization of resources. Ability to maintain social media footprint as related to program needs. Provide customer service to clients to attend trainings through answering phone calls, assist in preparing, editing and mailing program materials.
2 years College and 3 years’ experience in office management.
Highly organized and motivated personality
Ability to lead and follow a project to a successful completion.
Valid State of Illinois Drivers License
Must have some knowledge in child development or related courses
Knowledge of windows office suite program word, excel, access, publisher, and power point.
Availability of flexible hour schedule requiring some evening, and Saturday hours.
