The Department of Early Childhood Education at East Tennessee State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor with an effective start date of January 2019, but will consider a start date of August 15, 2019.
Undergraduate and graduate (masters and doctoral level programs) teaching on-site and online in Early Childhood Education; program/course development; undergraduate and graduate advisement, mentoring, and recruiting; leadership service as Coordinator of the undergraduate Early Care and Education program; collaboration with local education agencies; and research and/or scholarly activity.

A doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field; experience with young children in classroom, research, and/or professional settings (birth through 3rd grade); and demonstrated research and scholarly activities related to the field of Early Childhood Education.
