Tulsa Educare seeks a dynamic Executive Director to fulfill its dual role of providing exemplary early childhood education to children birth through age four and their families and serving as a catalyst for change in early childhood services in Tulsa beyond the walls of Educare.
The ideal candidate would be a strong business-minded leader who works well in a shared decision making environment and values collaborative community partnerships. Together with the Board of Directors, the ED develops and executes the strategic direction as well as manages the day to day operations. The ED position is unique as it requires little fundraising but a deep program involvement in data utilization and continuous improvement towards the agency mission and strategic goals. The candidate should have an understanding of the Head Start Performance Standards.
Tulsa Educare, Inc. (TEI) is a well-funded non-profit early childhood agency that is leading the nation in innovative early childhood best practice. The mission is to help break the cycle of poverty through a flagship, very early childhood education program and through transfer of best practices to other Tulsa and national programs.

Master’s degree in business management/administration, early childhood education, child development, social services or related field.
Ten years’ experience in administrative, leadership and/or supervisory position.
Prior program development, management, and evaluation experience preferred.
