The AssessmentSpecialist (Coordinator II) is a position with the UT SWORPS Stars AssessmentSpecialist team responsible for quality assurance in the Tennessee Child CareEvaluation and Report Card Program. The position requires conductingreliability checks, practice observations, assessments and training forTennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) staff and other child carepartners. While based in West Tennessee, state-wide travel, including overnighttrips will be required.Other duties mayinclude participation in partner meetings or projects as required.
·Bachelor'sdegree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a closely relatedfield
·Threeto five years' experience in direct service or providing technical assistanceto agencies working with children birth - twelve, their families or programsthat serve them
·Atleast three to five years of experience conducting assessments for theTennessee Child Care Evaluation and Report Card Program
·Achievedreliability on at least 3 Environment Rating Scales™
·Familiarity with various aspects of theTennessee Child Care Report Card Evaluation and Report Card Program
·Strong interpersonal and written/verbalcommunication skills
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflexible hours
