Hoosier Courts Nursery School is a state licensed and nationally accredited preschool program on the campus of I.U. Our program enrolls I.U. student, staff, and faculty families.
Our NAEYC accredited early childhood center is looking for teacher’s aides who can help facilitate open-ended preschool classroom explorations and support the lead teachers in the classroom. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with young children, understands how they learn, and is dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for each child. The hours for these positions typically are:
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM Monday through Friday 11:30 AM -5:30 PM Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday through Friday, or 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
REQUIRED: Must be 18 years old, be a high school graduate, and have experience working with young children.
Course work in child development; experience working within a child care program with preschoolers.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Physically able to lift forty pounds; capable of meeting the physical demands of young children.
