This clinical position is responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments and providing ongoing individual and family psychotherapy to children ages 0-6. This position requires services to be provided in the clinic, and when appropriate, in the home and/or community. It is a position that requires working closely and being sensitive to relationships with local schools, County Social Services, and other mental health providers within the community. It emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge in early childhood development.
Masters or Doctorate Degree in a professional area of practice which has resulted in qualification as a Mental Health Professional or eligible as a Mental Health Professional. MN state license and eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities required e.g., LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in working with mental health disorders in early childhood and adults, family systems theory, individual and family development and community systems. Previous experience in providing DC 0-3R assessments is required. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred. This position requires the use of a personal automobile for transportation and may require frequent use for traveling between office and clients. An active driver's license and vehicle insurance per agency policy is required. Use of a cell phone is required for this position. Employee must be able to work flexible evening hours.
