Manages and processes all insurance requests related to campus events and activity. Maintains all vehicle accident reports, property damage claims, and liaisons with TAMUS Risk Management office when applicable. Reviews Summer Camp/Event Compliance packets. Reports property inventory controls as Accountable Property Officer, maintains records of Fire and Life inspections documenting discrepancies and corrections, and maintains all departmental and personnel licenses. Tracks and maintains detailed program information related to annual reporting of chemical inventories, student lab safety training as required by regulatory agencies and TAMUS. Assists with the preparation and gathering of information for environmental site assessments, environmental sampling reports, chain of custody, and other environmental and health reports.; Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate; Requires CJIS Level 1; Criminal Justice Information System Fingerprint Background Check
Responsibilities: 15% Track and maintain detailed program information related to annual reporting of chemical inventories, student lab safety training as required by regulatory agencies and TAMUS.
15% Review Summer Camp/Event Compliance packets to ensure required insurance, child protection training have been completed. Verify background check forms have been submitted to Human Resources
15% Procure all necessary equipment and supplies via RTP, Limited Purchase Order and Credit Card. Prepare all invoices for payment. Maintain & Update accounts for the department. Prepare requests for PUF equipment. Report property inventory controls as Accountable Property Officer. Reconcile Monthly Procurement Card Charges and submit to Business Services. Prepare documentation requesting payment of Insurance Policies. Provide emergency information and procedures to the Control Center operators. Maintain records of Fire and Life inspections documenting discrepancies and corrections.

Supply TAMUS Risk Management Office Personnel with accurate information in a timely fashion. Maintain all vehicle accident reports submitting the reports to TAMUS Risk Management when applicable, requesting Officer reports when needed. File property damage claims with TAMUS Risk Management Office Personnel.
15% Maintain all departmental and personnel licenses and registrations related to asbestos, UST's, radiation materials and equipment.
15% Assist with the preparation and gathering of information for environmental site assessments, environmental sampling reports, chain of custodies, and other environmental and health reports. Prepares for the Director the University Annual Asbestos Notification to be submitted to the DSHS. Initiates the documentation of the quarterly required Radiation Safety inspections.
5% Provide emergency information and procedures to the Control Center operators. Maintain records of Fire and Life inspections documenting discrepancies and corrections. Maintain the Emergency Preparedness, Live Green, Code Purple, and RMS web pages updating critical information when Federal, State or TAMUS regulations change.
5% Performs other duties as assigned. This is a security-sensitive position. The individual in this position is required to handle Protected Health Information in accordance with A&M System policy and is further required to complete HIPAA training as a condition of employment, within a reasonable time frame after the individual's employment, and on an as-needed basis. This is a CJIS Level 1 security-sensitive position- The individual in this position may be required to access the Criminal Justice Information System (this level is designed for people who do not have physical and logical access to CJI but may encounter it in their duties); As a condition of employment the individual will be required to pass a Criminal Justice Information System Fingerprint Background Check and within a reasonable time frame after the individual's employment successfully complete periodic training to retain and maintain assigned responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience: Associate degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of related work experience specifically with electronic record keeping. Demonstrated extensive experience related to data entry in computer related programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
