University Child Development School educates 325 students ages preschool through 5th grade. We are currently looking for a full time executive assistant to support the Head of School, Board of Trustees, and Board Committees.
Minimum five years administrative assistant experience; excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
To provide confidential, consistent and professional support to the Head of School.
To provide support for the Board of Trustees and Board committees.
To manage individual projects and duties as assigned.
Support the Head of School
Schedule calendars and make meeting arrangements
Screen and direct phone calls to the Head of School
Draft letters and other written materials as requested
Oversee travel arrangements
Manage special projects as assigned by the Head of School
Support the Board of Trustees
Schedule Board and Board Committee meetings and maintain a consolidated meeting schedule
Take minutes at Board meetings and at selected Board Committee meetings
Make all Board and Committee meeting arrangements
Maintain rosters and records
Assist Board Chair and other officers and committee chairs as requested
Maintain the Board website
Help with editing and management of the school’s weekly e-newsletter
Help with editing of the school’s annual report
Act as backup for the front office staff and other administrative personnel as needed
Attend faculty and admin meetings
Serve on assigned school committee
