The Military Family Life Counselor provides confidential, face-to-face, non-medical, solution-focused counseling services to military-connected individuals, couples, families and groups, for situations resulting from commonly occurring life circumstances. There are also opportunities to work with children of military families at child development centers and local schools. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and licensure at the highest independent level as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or Psychologist.
Our Military Family Life Counselors work throughout the United States including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

MHN Government Services provides non–medical counseling services in support of active duty military personnel and their families in 126 locations across 21 states, two U.S. territories and 17 foreign countries through the Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC) Program since 2006. Through the Department of Defense's MFLC Program, independently licensed Counselors assist service members and their families with issues they may face through the cycle of deployment – from leaving their loved ones and possibly living and working in harm's way, to reintegrating with their family and community. The MFLC Program provides support for a range of issues including relationships, crisis intervention, stress management, grief, occupational, and other individual and family issues.
