The Education Redesign Lab was founded in 2014 by Professor Paul Reville to focus on redesigning, aligning, and integrating systems of child development and education in communities across the U.S. in order to restore social mobility and ensure that all children can reach their full potential. The Lab is seeking Staff Assistant to perform a variety of complex administrative and communications support duties related to the Education Redesign Lab's day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Associate, National Policy and Partnerships, but working closely with all members of the Lab, the Staff Assistant will be responsible for high quality administrative and communications support and has the following responsibilities:
Organizes and implements administrative systems and procedures to ensure the Lab operates smoothly.
Assists senior leadership with logistical support including calendar management; coordinate with the Lab Director's Faculty Assistant.
Provides logistical support for meetings and conferences including securing facilities, ordering meals, helping manage RSVPs and coordinating meeting material development and distribution.
Prepares and processes reimbursements and invoices, and tracks outstanding expenses.
Provides general administrative support, including ordering supplies, and requesting service and repair of equipment, when necessary.
This position is a term appointment for one year from the date of hire, with a possibility of continuation.

Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Experience in large university settings a plus.
Experience managing an organization's social media and web presence a plus.
