St. Charles Community College welcomes applications for a part-time, Substitute Child Development Associate position. Child Development Associates are an integral part of the professional teaching team in our mixed-age early childhood classrooms. This position involves collaborating with other teachers and parents to promote children's earning in all developmental domains. Duties include engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities, supervising a group of children, and daily parent conversation. Knows and follows Missouri childcare licensing and sanitation regulations; additional training provided. Extensive curriculum training provided.
Hours: Varies between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday as needed.
Qualifications: One college class in an early childhood related field or equivalent. Preference is given to candidates who have an Associate's degree or higher in early childhood related field. Must meet DHSS qualifications. Must be at least 18 years of age.
