The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division of the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for a full-time Psychologist position as a Senior Instructor to begin August 1, 2018. We are recruiting for a candidate with outstanding clinical, supervision and program evaluation skills with a focus on evidence-based care within the outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical care within outpatient settings, supervise pre-doctoral interns, post-doctoral fellows, master's prepared clinical staff, and participate in scholarship. Clinical care will be provided within the UR Medicine: Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness Outpatient Services. Services offered to families within Rochester and the surrounding region include diagnostic assessments, individual, group and family therapy, parent and school consultation, psychological testing and medication services. Teaching and clinical supervision of Psychology interns and fellows within our APA-accredited training programs, as well as formal and informal teaching of Psychiatry Residents and Master's prepared staff clinicians will also be supported. Program design and evaluation efforts will be supported through the Lab for Innovation in Child Mental Health Care Delivery. We are particularly interested in scholarly efforts related to program development, training and/or treatment effectiveness work. Candidates must have a doctorate degree from an APA-accredited clinical graduate program and an APA-accredited internship. License eligibility in New York State in Psychology is required.
