The Assistant Teachers will work in a classroom at the Child Development Center with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 months. The position involves a collaborative effort in supporting the functions of the classroom as a whole under the supervision of a Head Teacher and an Associate Teacher. Staff are required to maintain all NAEYC Standards, Keystone STAR Standards, and DHS regulations. Staff member must maintain 24 hours of professional development annually and complete all other required center and state training's.

Additional Education And/or Experience Essential To the Position: Incumbent must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 15 credit hours in higher education in child care, early childhood or child development. At least 2 years of experience, with infants, is required.
