Graland Country Day School is seeking an early childhood educator for a full- or part-time music and child drama teacher who has experience with teaching early childhood classes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching music and dance/movement activities to students, providing rich, age-appropriate learning experiences, and using creativity to engage students in music and movement and child drama (i.e., singing, dancing, playing instruments).
Extensive knowledge of the creative arts and child development is preferred, along with prior teaching experience. Collaboration and curriculum planning with the school-based visual and preforming arts team is essential.
Graland is an independent, co-education PS – 8th school with 700 students. Our Early Childhood division provides a quality, safe and nurturing environment for young children. Our curriculum is designed to inspire children through developmentally appropriate, hands-on, play-oriented activities.
