Report to the clinical coordinator of Family-Based Recovery (FBR) Program, provide clinical support and case management services to families composed of a parent with a substance use disorder and a child age 0-6.

Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day)
Required Skill/ability 1: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team.
Required Skill/ability 2: Strong computer skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Required Skill/ability 3: Ability to develop special knowledge of parenting, child mental health, development and substance use.
Required Skill/ability 4: Must have a car and be willing to travel. Must have some flexibility with working hours. May have to work some evenings.
Required Skill/ability 5: Required per DCF Contract Regulations, updated TB test and physical exam within the last 12 months.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Prefer that the Bachelor's degree is in the behavioral health field. Familiarity with New Haven and surrounding communities is preferred, but not required. EPIC . Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Experience and effective communication skills working with children and families at risk. Experience with direct mental health/social services/human services working with children and families.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
1. Required per DCF Contract Regulations: candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree. Prefer in social work or related area. 2. Familiarity with New Haven and surrounding communities. 3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 4. Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.
