The Education Redesign Lab was founded in 2014 by Professor Paul Reville to focus on redesigning, aligning, and integrating systems of child development and education to restore social mobility and ensure that all kids can reach their full potential. The Lab is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Program Manager and the Associate Director of Programs and Operations. The program coordinator will support fieldwork convenings, generate program content, and facilitate partners' learning and development. The program coordinator will work independently to perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the Lab and communicates with and will provide services to a wide range of internal and external contacts
In coordination with Program Manager helps support and execute program content for the Lab's fieldwork and events.
Coordinates communication between Harvard project staff, faculty and partner-project personnel, exhibiting a high degree of problem solving, professionalism, and technical competency.
Provides oversight of a series of multi-day convenings, from planning to implementation.
Executes project plan to ensure program milestones are met with regard to strategic planning associated with ongoing convenings.
Supports the creation of learning and development models for the Lab's fieldwork partners.
Coordinates outreach with strategic external and internal partners critical to the success of the program, including municipal leaders (Mayors, Superintendents, etc.), process consultants, and community leaders.
This position is a term appointment for one year from the date of hire, with a possibility of continuation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work additional hours during peak periods (convening events, meetings, etc)

Familiarity with planning events and ability to communicate clearly with event participants about key logistics and event flow.
Commitment to the Lab's mission and able to represent the Education Redesign Lab, the Graduate School of Education, and the University professionally both internally and externally.
Must be detail-oriented and efficient, and have excellent project management skills including the demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines on multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and develop practical solutions.
Must be motivated to learn and flexible to changing priorities
