Salary Range: $30,000 - $40,000 (full-time value, prorated to FTE)
FTE: 0.50 - 0.75
Employee will analyze data for an ongoing longitudinal study and other studies related to food reinforcement value. He/she will work collaboratively on manuscript preparation. Data Analyst will be responsible for consulting and collaborating with the Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator on appropriate data analysis procedures, conducting analyses, interpreting outputs, and writing results sections of manuscripts. Employee will be required to perform analytical methods and must have a proficient statistical skill set. He/she must be able to efficiently and effectively utilize statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, SYSTAT, Excel, etc. Data Analyst will be required to have exemplary writing skills and be able to assist in publishing grants and manuscripts.
Master's degree in public health, statistics, nutrition or obesity-related field such as psychology, neuroscience, child development, etc. Practical experience in some advanced statistical techniques for studies (e.g., Multiple Linear Regression, Randomized Control Trial, Structural Equations Modeling, Latent Growth Modeling, Multilevel Modeling) and statistical issues such as power analysis, handling of missing data, testing mediation and moderation. Must possess good communication, organizational, time management, writing, and problem solving skills.
