YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago, a 21st Century, business-savvy, social enterprise committed to “Eliminating Racism and Empowering Women,” is seeking a QUALITY COORDINATOR for YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral Program. This person will be based at YWCA Patterson/McDaniel Family Center, located at 2055 W. Army Trail Rd in Addison, IL 60101. This is an exempt, full-time position, reporting to the Vice President of Early Childhood Services. Salary is commensurate with experience.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Quality Coordinator oversees the programmatic quality of Early Childhood providers to ensure the safety and security of the children.
Works with quality team to establish plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of children
Works with quality team to evaluate the needs of each site and devises a training strategy to meet those needs
Coordinates, develops and presents relevant trainings needed to fulfill CCR&R statutory training requirements and needs assessments with YWCA Training Coordinator
Monitors and reviews the professional development plans and progress of child care providers
Provides recruiting talent acquisition and professional development for Quality Team members
Coordinates and oversees the work of CCR&R contracted Mental Health Specialist
Coordinates with other YWCA programs to meet the needs of all providers
Offers training and education to diverse groups of people in the Early Childhood/Social Service field
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Welfare, Public Administration, or one of the social sciences
Minimum of three years of Early Childhood management experience
Proficient in FCCERS, ITERS, and ExceleRate Illinois Quality measures
Experience in human services program management, including planning, operations & evaluation, and the use of data management information systems
Ability to pass a health examination and criminal background check
Able to travel within a locally designated area and work nights and weekends as needed
Excellent presentation skills, incorporating all strategies for all learning areas
Well developed problem-solving and communication skills, with an expert ability to work independently, while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments simultaneously as needed
