Job Description: The College of Education, Health and Human Services (CEHHS) is seeking applications for a lecturer position in the Department of Education for the Winter 2018 semester. The selected candidate would be responsible for teaching the course, EDC 540 – Advanced Child Development: An advanced study of the development of the child from conception through adolescence. Research on physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development will be explored and analyzed. Current applications of knowledge in this field will be examined as well as new innovations in both research and practice.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting all instructional duties of the course, including teaching, development of assignments, grading, holding office hours for student support, and maintaining a course page through the Canvas Learning Management System.
The position requires that the candidate have a doctoral degree in early childhood/related field or several years of related experience beyond a master’s degree.
