Provide a broad range of services to families enrolled in the Child Development program. Establish and maintain relationships with families in an effort to enhance the child's social & emotional development and their child care experience. Provide support and assistance to Child Development staff when dealing with challenging children and families. Help to establish and manage community partnerships and referral sources.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW), Human Services or related field, required.
Minimum of 2 years of social work experience with child welfare, families with young children or children with special needs, preferred.
Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) and/or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is a plus.
Knowledge of child development, therapeutic skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
Good listening and analytical problem-solving skills.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
Demonstrated computer literacy.
